Burger Fever
About this video...
Public since May 27th, 2009.
Burger Fever was created by Stephen for his Lighting and Field Production class in college. There were a vast amount of criteria, and he had to create a piece that met all of those criteria.
This video was a final for the class (Broken Record was a midterm) and had roughly the same criteria. However, instead of being held back by the restraints of using a rented camera, Stephen ditched the $30,000 SDX-900 for his own $700 HV20. He rented lights and other equipment from friends and was able to avoid having to rent anything.
The total cost of the video was roughly $50—a $20 doctor's costume and, well, $30 in McDonald's food (needed for a shot that lasts only a second). After the two day shoot ended, everyone found it hard to stomach any one of the 20 cheeseburgers left over. They eventually proceeded to put googly eyes on them and leave them various places around the dorm building.
Locations
Burger Fever was filmed outside and inside of Oglethorpe House at SCAD, in Savannah, Georgia..
Equipment
This video was shot entirely with the Canon HV20 and edited on Final Cut Pro 6 software.
