About this video...

Public since April 21st, 2009.

Broken Record was created by Stephen for his Lighting and Field Production class in college. There were a vast amount of criteria, and he had to create a piece that met all of those criteria.

This was the first time he had shot a project using the SDX 900 ($30,000 camera... what!?), and also the first time he had ever used a boom and mixer. The piece was created with that in mind, and only shows two characters on screen at once because of that (the third person was always holding the boom pole). The entire video was shot in 6 hours on April 18th, 2009.

The video was presented for the class on April 22nd, and was met with positive feedback. Perhaps you'll think the same. And if you loved this, you'll love Crooked A's, since it has roughly the same plot (completely coincidental).

Locations

Broken Record was shot in Orleans Square and a dorm room of Oglethorpe House at SCAD, in Savannah, Georgia..

Equipment

This video was shot entirely with the Panasonic SDX 900 and edited on Final Cut Pro 6 software.
